On Thursday, 13 January, my group got up and headed to the eye clinic to work on our project. Our project is coming along quite well. While at the clinic, we were able to gather more information in order to complete our project. Sometimes, we get so focused on our project that the time just disappears so at around 2pm we headed for lunch. As we had been talking to one of the camp coordinators all morning, we invited them to join us for lunch.
For lunch, we went to a restaurant that had a doorman in a costume and the theme inside the restaurant was a village. The inside was stunning. I am amazed at the detail on the walls.
After lunch, we headed back to the clinic to finish up some work. As soon as we were done, we headed back to the hotel. When we left the clinic, some ladies were drawing a painting on the sidewalk in front of the clinic entrance. It was really neat to see them create it in front of our eyes. It looked like it would be a challenge to create as they were not using sticks of chalk.
At the hotel, we rested and then got ready for an evening out. 14 of the 17 of our group, we went out to an Indian pub, Bottles & Chimney to have dinner and chill. We as a group had a blast. It was so much fun to go and enjoy ourselves away from our work. I think the best part of it was that everyone got along and there were not any arguments.

When we got home in the evening, I found an additional roommate. I am glad that I volunteered at a science museum, where small animals were prevalent. At least, he was in the living room rather than in the bedroom.
