During the eye camp, my team and I learned about the process flow of the eye camp. Also, one of the eye camp patients was a 14 year old, young lady named Prishanti. Prishanti approached me and asked to practice her English. Her English was very good. After awhile she asked me to come and visit her home. So, Tina, Abhishek, and I walked 25-30 minutes to her home. During our walk to her home, we gained a following of probably 20 kids. Once we got to her home, we took off our shoes and joined her inside, where Prishanti made us fresh lemonade. After a short visit, we headed back to the eye camp.
From the eye camp, we ate lunch with our project sponsor and one of our professors at Koffee 'n' Kebabs. It was good. We tried new things as our professor order several things that he did not think we would otherwise try.
Then we headed back to the hotel to rest up prior to our adventure of dinner. As a group we went to dinner at Angeethi, an Indian place, that we found by asking someone walking on the street. The atmosphere was that of a traditional village area. The food was amazing. So far, I think Angeethi is my favorite restaurant.
